So you’ve decided to visit us on Sunday, but you’re anxious…what’s going to happen? What should you wear? (Hint: We encourage you to wear whatever you would normally. We want to know the authentic you!) Our service goes a little something like this.
Starting at 10:00am, we use live music to welcome people through the doors and the Holy Spirit to join us. You’ll hear a healthy mix of contemporary songs mixed with old favorites and even a couple hymns. We use a digital screen to display all the lyrics so you don’t need to worry about knowing all the words. Sit, stand, clap, raise your hands, dance, grab a flag, or simply observe…all forms of worship are welcome at Our Father’s House.
After about a half an hour of worship music, we are seated to say a prayer of blessing over the children as they are released to a message of their own in the building’s lower hall and a few announcements about upcoming events are shared. Afterwards, one of our passionate pastors shares what God has put on their heart. This typically lasts 45 minutes.
Our Father’s House operates in the prophetic gifts from a place of good order. Sometimes our prophetic team members receive words or pictures from the Lord meant to encourage, exhort, or edify. Words and pictures are submitted to seasoned mentors prior to any being shared with the congregation during services.
The communion table is open to all who name the name of Christ and is done collectively in remembrance of His sacrifice on the cross.
