Meet The Team

Dr. Lanny Clark - Lead Pastor
The Navy brought Lanny and Patti Clark to southern Maryland in 1977. Lanny was an Active Duty Naval Flight Officer, but a tangible encounter with Jesus Christ altered his path and led him into ministry. In 1981, he became the pastor of Our Father’s House (then known as Patuxent River Assembly of God).
Pastor Lanny’s ministry emphasizes honoring the activity of the Holy Spirit. Through God’s grace, Pastor Lanny builds up the local body of Christ and believers around the world through international ministry. He helps others to understand the gospel of the King and His kingdom, empowers others in their gifts of service, and initiates others into the prophetic and healing ministry. He delights in seeing his congregants mature and step into their God-given destinies.
Pastor Lanny serves on the leadership team of the Mid-Atlantic Leadership Conference.
Pastor Lanny and his wife, Patti, married in 1970. They have three grown sons and an adorable grandson. Amid pastoring, traveling, and studying, Pastor Lanny enjoys cracking jokes, fishing, and spending time with people. He and Patti reside in beautiful southern Maryland.

Pastor Jay Patterson - Associate Pastor

Pastor Jay and Katie Patterson came to OFH as newlyweds from Northern California in early 2005.  As a young couple finding roots in a new area, they quickly became deeply involved in the church as their hunger for the Lord increased.  After growing in their ministerial graces, serving in various capacities and beginning to raise a family, they chose to answer the pastoral call at OFH in 2015.  Pastor Jay will succeed Pastor Lanny as Lead Pastor at the end of his tenure in 2021.

At their core, Pastor Jay and Katie purpose to reach people with the Father's love and help align them with His particular call on their lives.  As such, they recognize that honoring the presence of the Holy Spirit in all that is done is of the utmost importance.  They seek to nurture the present atmosphere of honor, respect and grace, allowing OFH to be a place where it is safe to be broken.  They understand the practical needs of family life and have a heart for all of our members, including the youngest, to grow in the expression of their gifts.  They are committed to opening new doors for our church to carry the Father's love into the local community in Southern Maryland.

Pastor Jay and Katie are blessed to be raising three godly men of their own: Jack, Seth and Ben.

Daniel Mashtare - Family Life Pastor

Daniel Mashtare grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania. As a young teen, Daniel struggled with drug and alcohol addictions. The Lord delivered him in a powerful way that forever changed him. From that moment, Daniel purposed to work with youth. He worked as a camp counselor, ministering to inner-city kids. He attended Youth Challenge International Bible Institute, and followed this up with a year internship at Walter Long Teen Challenge for New Life in Wheeling, WV. He then met his soon to be wife, Barbara.
